Esys Automation, has been awarded a Top Workplaces honor by the Detroit Free Press for the fourth year in a row. The Top Workplaces list, which is based solely on the results of a third party–administered employee survey, measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection.
According to representatives of the Detroit Free Press, a Top Workplaces recognition is neither a popularity contest nor based on fancy perks and benefits. To be named to the Top Workplaces list, companies must meet strict standards for organizational health. Research has shown that what’s important to employees is a strong belief in where the organization is headed, knowledge about how it’s going to get there, and the feeling that everyone is in it together.
“Our people are our greatest asset, and we commit to a positive workplace culture by remaining a transparent organization,” says Kathie Belkowski, director of People Engagement at Esys Automation. “Transparency fosters trust and engagement, which is crucial to our culture. We share data across the board, from our financial position and outlook to our future growth plans.”
“We are currently expanding our engineering and sales workforce to support our growth in the automation market,” Belkowski continues. “Growth brings in new ideas and encourages employees to share different viewpoints, creating a collaborative, diverse environment. Our team members enjoy a high level of autonomy and responsibility that promotes innovative thinking and a sense of ownership.”
