Esys Automation expands its North American operations to the Southeast Region by establishing an office at the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR). Headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan, Esys is a leading innovator of full service automation for manufacturers. Esys joins more than 17 industry partners at CU-ICAR’s Center for Emerging Technologies as the first automation service provider.

“We are very excited to join the CU-ICAR partnership. CU-ICAR has created a very powerful and innovative way for OEM’s, suppliers, research and education to collaborate in mutually beneficial ways. Along with the strong State/County support, training programs and technical workforce, it became clear that there is a very strategic advantage for us to expand into theGreenville area. This expansion will allow Esys to enhance support to our existing customers and provide a solid foundation to grow our business in the southeast region,” said Dave Valentine, President of Esys Automation.

“We are exceptionally pleased to welcome Esys to the CU-ICAR campus. Esys’ decision to bring its award-winning engineering services to CU-ICAR is an exciting complement to the growing eco-system of successful automotive companies in the Upstate of South Carolina. Their ability to attract and retain the industry’s most talented engineers make them a great addition to CU-ICAR Center for Emerging Technologies,” said Suzanne Dickerson, director of Business Development at CU-ICAR. “We look forward to a long and successful partnership with Esys Automation.”
